However, it is very easy to burn yourself on this iron vs. the more traditional irons. However, it does do exactly what I had hoped. It gives a very beautiful wave/curl. You just have to get used to a new style of curling. I would tell my friends to buy this one. I wanted to curl my straight braids and it worked. It seems a little complicated but once you get the hang of it, you're good to go. I just decided to go natural and not use much heat so I stopped using it. But it does the job and makes your hair pretty and wavy or curly. I use two gloves on the same hand and I still get pink fingers that hurt. I am going to invest in outdoor leather glove to see if that will work better because I love curling my hair... it is so different and cool looking.
